Most people have heard of clean eating but may not know exactly what it is or how to apply the concept to their diet. In simple terms, eating clean is the practice of avoiding processed and refined food. “Clean” diets focus on eating whole foods like vegetables, fruits, whole grains, healthy proteins, and healthy fats. Engaging in a clean-eating lifestyle helps the body receive proper nutrition, removes toxins, aids in weight loss, and increases overall well-being. Since clean eating is not a calorie-counting diet, it is fairly easy to follow. Below are six healthy tips to get started on a journey to clean eating.   Eat whole foods Whole foods are foods that have been processed or refined as little as possible and are free of additives or additional artificial substances. These foods have not been altered in any way. Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy products, free-range and grass-fed meats, unsalted nuts, and seeds are good sources of whole foods. ...

There are plenty of reasons to drink water. In fact, drinking water (either plain or in the form of other fluids or foods) is essential to your health. Think of water as a nutrient your body needs that is present in liquids, plain water, and foods. All of these are essential daily to replace the large amounts of water lost each day,"   Fluid losses occur continuously, from skin evaporation, breathing, urine, and stool, and these losses must be replaced daily for good health. When your water intake does not equal your output, you can become dehydrated. Fluid losses are accentuated in warmer climates, during strenuous exercise, in high altitudes, and in older adults, whose sense of thirst may not be as sharp.   Here are six reasons to make sure you're drinking enough water or other fluids every day:   1. Drinking Water Helps Maintain the Balance of Body Fluids. Your body is composed of about 60% water. The functions of these bodily fluids inc...

Weight loss/Building muscle The best time to train is in the first two weeks of menstruation as this is when your body is at its optimal and strongest and can literally handle anything.    If you suffer from pre-period cramps don't lay in bed! Go for a walk, go for a run, go lift some heavy shit at the gym and this is the PERFECT time to test your strength!  That is two weeks of extreme training and the body evolution will be mind fucking blowing.    Weight gain/Toning The perfect time to tone is when your body is at its weakest and craves the most food this indicator is your ovulation (IT ONLY LAST ONE DAY and the post-period cramps are a real fucker on this day, that will indicate to you that your body is overworked and it will not give you it’s best….    So now you can stretch do some Yoga, Pilates, light weight training, or even do a 20-minute walk…. We’re just toning, right?  But if your goal is to keep ...

Is dieting unhealthy?

Losing weight    ⚠ ️ No! If you have an exit strategy then in my professional opinion no dieting for weight loss isn’t unhealthy   Example: If you are going to compete, don’t go head in. PLAN 16 weeks out “this had to be drilled into me because I enjoyed aggressive preps which fucked me over in the end.”  So diet down, if your caloric intake per day is 5000kcal comfortably then start with 5000kcal and remove 500g every 2nd day or every week so when stage day comes you should not be starving (be honestly you are cause your body is not used to 1000kcal).    Then lots of athletes has after “stage blues” where they go into depression because they’ve spent all these weeks losing weight for a few minutes on stage and that is that….   My advise have a post competition day or post weight loss goal, if you’re competing then reverse diet is your goal post comp; so you dieted down from 5000kcal to 1000kcal, so now you diet up from 1000kcal back...
